Creator (ogtcreator.com) is an internal operations tool operated by Old Greg’s Tavern, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Our team uses it to track the creators we partner with and to schedule and manage advertisements for our own products — Old Greg’s Tavern, Petra’s Villa, and Court of Ophelia — on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok. This policy explains what information the tool handles and how it is used.
1. Who can use Creator
Creator is not a consumer service. Access is limited to employees and contractors of Old Greg’s Tavern, LLC who sign in with an approved Google account. No accounts are offered to the public, and the tool does not collect information from visitors other than the team members who sign in.
2. Information we handle
- Team member sign-in data: the name, email address, and profile picture of the Google account used to sign in, together with a session cookie that keeps you signed in.
- Creator partner information: the names, social media handles, contact details, and agreement terms of the content creators we work with, entered by our team, and a record of payments we make to them.
- Public social media content: public posts, captions, view counts, and thumbnails from creator accounts that partner with us on Instagram and TikTok, gathered so we can measure how partnered content performs and choose which posts to promote.
- Meta advertising data: through the Meta Marketing API we read and write campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives, and partnership-ad permissions in our own Meta ad account, and read their delivery status and spend. We do not access the personal data of Facebook or Instagram users, and we do not read the private data of the creators’ accounts — only their public posts and whether they have authorised us to promote them.
- Generated ad assets: images and videos our team creates in the tool for use in advertisements.
- Product analytics: aggregated performance figures for our own products (sign-ups, purchases, revenue by campaign) read from our analytics systems to judge which ads work.
3. How we use it
- To plan, publish, monitor, and pause advertisements in our own Meta ad account.
- To measure the performance of content produced by creators we have contracted.
- To pay creators under the terms we have agreed with them.
- To restrict access to the tool to authorised team members.
We do not sell any of this information, use it to build advertising profiles of individuals, or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Service providers
The tool runs on infrastructure provided by the following processors, each acting on our instructions:
- Vercel, Inc. — application hosting.
- MongoDB, Inc. — database hosting.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — storage of media files.
- Google LLC — team sign-in.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — the Marketing API and the ad account itself.
- Apify Technologies s.r.o. — collection of public social media posts.
- PostHog, Inc. — product analytics for our own products.
- Anthropic, PBC and fal.ai — generation of ad copy and imagery from prompts our team writes.
5. Meta platform data
Data received from Meta’s APIs is used only to manage advertising in the ad account owned by Old Greg’s Tavern, LLC, in line with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. Ad, ad set, and content identifiers are stored so the tool can show the state of our ads and avoid duplicating them. We delete this data on request and when it is no longer needed to operate our advertising. If Meta asks us to delete platform data, we do so promptly.
6. Retention and deletion
Team sign-in sessions expire automatically. Creator partner records, performance data, and advertising records are kept while the partnership is active and for as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes, after which they are deleted. A creator who partners with us may ask us to delete the information we hold about them at any time by writing to innkeeper@oldgregstavern.com.
7. Requests from public authorities for personal data
We disclose personal data to government, law enforcement, or other public authorities only where we are legally required to do so. Every such request is handled under the following policy:
- Review. Each request is reviewed for legality before any response is made: whether the requesting body has the authority to make it, whether it follows a valid legal process (such as a court order, subpoena, or warrant), and whether it is specific about the data sought and the legal basis for seeking it.
- Challenge. Where a request appears unlawful, overbroad, vague, or lacking a valid legal basis, we will not comply as presented. We seek clarification or narrowing from the requesting body and, where appropriate, challenge the request through the available legal process, including seeking legal advice and contesting it before a court.
- Minimisation. When we are required to disclose data, we disclose only the minimum information necessary to satisfy the specific, lawful scope of the request, and no more.
- Records. We keep a written record of every request we receive, including the requesting body and any other parties involved, the data sought, our legal reasoning, any challenge made, and our final response.
We notify affected individuals or partners of a request where the law permits. Where a request concerns data we received from Meta’s platforms, we handle it in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms.
8. Security
Access is protected by Google sign-in and an allow-list of approved accounts. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting providers. API credentials are stored as server-side secrets and are never sent to the browser.
